Nicolas Roch is a permanent staff researcher at CNRS-Néel Institut. He obtained his Ph.D. at University of Grenoble in 2010 and worked at Ecole Normal Supérieure (ENS) under the supervision of B. Huard and M. Devoret from 2010 to 2012 and at UC Berkeley under the supervision of I. Siddiqi from 2012-2013 as Post Doc. His main research interests are now focused on quantum simulation in circuitQED, quantum-limited parametric amplifiers, Josephson junction meta-materials for high impedance quantum circuits and QND measurement in quantum mechanics.
