Giuseppe Falci is Full Professor of Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics at the Department of Physics and Astronomy “Ettore Majorana” (DFA) of the University of Catania. He is research associate to the CNR-IMM Catania Università. His area of expertise is mesoscopic superconductivity, quantum phase transition, solid-state quantum computation and communication and open quantum systems. Recently his research interests extended to ultrastrongly coupled matter-radiaton systems. Within SiUCs he is addressing theoretically the detection of ground-state entanglement and dynamical quantum phase transitions.
